This is a teaching lesson for all, but then not all of us are that confident that we need to know that our dominance and confidence can be a problem at times.
The subject of this is an internent radio guy named Ted Broer. He appears on Rense.com and I feel for the guy as his lovely wife died, and in order to validate himself and deal with the loss he has been dating an array of women, where he has set it up that he can pick and choose, meaning no other woman is ever going to measure up to his wife, so he gains control over a situation none of us can control in the loss of a loved one.
This though is not about the dating, it is about a program from mid November, where he was talking about Tel Aviv genocide of Philistines and the history there, and he started talking about satan.
I desire in this, that each of you in your laziness and arrogance, often, because we all do it, start making blanket statements on "What God feels" what others are thinking or in this case with Ted Broer, "What satan is doing".
I try very hard when I'm upset to not generalize what God is doing, as I have no idea what God is doing or why. I can not speak for God. I can not even come close to interpreting what God is doing. I can take responsibilty for my limitations and speak from my perspective, and pray things for a positive outcome, instead of whining about how things are going wrong, as God knows this and I know this.........so it helps in catharsis for a bit, but Peter in drowning after walking on the water, was not whining about the storm, the water being cold or Jesus walking slow. He said LORD SAVE ME. That solves everything.
It two things Ted Broer said which were incorrect about satan. The first was that "satan is afraid of us". The second was that "satan wants to be us".
Never conclude because the Bible says, "Resist satan and he will flee from you", to mean it fears you. It is instead defeated and is fleeing more out of the condescention that these flesh creatures overcame it FOR THE MOMENT with Christ and the Holy Ghost. It will be back as after tempting Christ.....it came back
As I have written here, demons fear nothing. You can hear that in legion talking to Christ. There is a psychopathic definancne in them. They can not die, can not be killed. They know an eternal torment is coming, but that is future. There are conditions they do not like, but none of them have anything to fear. They are not afraid of you.
"What have we to do with you Jesus of Nazareth", is the summation of all of this. They do not like being overcome. They will try and negotiate a pig herd to possess instead of a person. They will be back though, looking at the person they possessed or were assailing and bring worse demons with them, so the last state of that person is worse than the first, if they go back to rebellion against God.
As for satan wanting to be us. There is nothing further from the Truth. I have explained this in Inspiration before. The Father created all in Christ, the Angels appeared first. It seems that a majority of Angels looked in form like God. The Seraphims were different in having different faces, wings and wheels. The Angels who seemed more like God were the Cherubim class led by those Archangels. Here is were we have to look at what was revealed. There was one named Lucifer, set apart from this high order. It was defined as full of beauty and wisdom. Wise does not mean all knowing. Beauty meant covered with gemstones, perhaps more as scales. The reason for mentiong that is Lucifer is later depicted as a dragon and in the garden, as a serpent form in being subtle.
This is conjecture based on that, but it seems that the 3rd of Angels who rebelled against God were a reptilian looking group. satan does not look like God or God's creation in mankind. It would seem it looks like a dragon.
When Jesus as the Word was creating all, aftewards God formed Adam with His Own Hands. I suspect the Glory of God had an honor guard of Angels, high ranking, but God did not explain what He was doing. Word spread though through all the Angelic host about these creations which looked like God. It is said that Angels sought to look into this mystery as they did not understand it.
God was creating a family a Body formed by Christ as the Head, of Spiritual children incubated in physical form.
Now there was Lucifer and it's apparent cast of reptilian looking wonderfully beautiful and wise creatures, who believed they were the Light Bearers, the summation of all, the attributes of the Father. Then one day, they start hearing that God has made these things that look like Him, and upon investigation it is confirmed that these worm things in flesh, are not what this creation thing is all about, but they are going to be higher than Angels, that Angels were made to serve these humans to bring them to their purpose, and that they will be like God.
That reality fractured Pure Light and became absolute darkness, an insanity, which made demons. satan is driven to detroy God's Plan, is a murderer and liar from the beginning and would destroy every human if it could. It does not make any difference that this is illogical in God's Plan will prevail. satan and demons are insane, they will serve their purpose in assailing people growing in Spirit as that is all they have and will ever have.
I' m reminded by something David John Oates found in the Jim Jones cult committing mass suicide in South America. At the end when Jones is talking about drinkign the poison, there is something heard and Mr. Oates cleaned it up. I believe the voice heard is satan. It says, Welcome Mr. Jim Jones". It is a cold, deadly and condescending statement in calling him "Mr.", but it was a victory for satan, as it warped what was a Christian into a sex deviant, and trusting people into a cult, who then all committed suicide in mass. That was accomplishing satan's work for it. That group would not be in Heaven. That is what a losing win looks like for satan. It is still a purpose serving God in removing the culls. This makes no sense in logic, but the murder and harm is what appears the reward in this insanity for this demonic group, which will one day all be imprisoned and tormented in Gehenna.
The point in this is that each of us has to be discplined and careful in our coming to conclusions. One main reason is God demands this, and if you ever make the mistake of defining satan wrong, it will use it to exploit it against you. There is no fairness in satan. It will use love or one wrong word to set up you and other people for your destruction.
Ted Broer is a very confident and successful man. He learned he had to dominate in this world to not be overcome by other people's wills. If you get into that rut, like Solomon Inspired in Proverbs, the repitition will devolve to Eccelsiastics in looking at a world view. The disciples were wowed by Jesus early miracles, but at the end they did not really take notice and became complacent as it was so common. That is when satan struck Jesus and scattered 11 of them in a few hours.
Judas betrayed Him. Peter denied Him. Thomas doubted Him. That is nothing to feel superior to those people, because for all the wonders God has done for me, I'm still whining about the present and wanting Him to do more as I wonder where God is.
God is always there. You may just have to reach and try harder to come into communion with Him, so you grow Spiritually.
So there is a problem with being too intelligent just as there is a problem in being too confident, just as a problem with being stupid and a problem in being timid.
We must always be careful as satan seeks to destroy each of us. This is a Spiritual war, but we have nothing to fear but God, and the meaning of that word "fear" is to respect God.
