Apparently you are about to be set up again in something which will be said to be the Bird Flu, but it is not the Avian Flu. The first inklings of this are a warning of a "mystery flu" in Argentina, followed by reports of people being in hospital over Pstittacosis. The generic name for this is Parrot Fever.
Parrot Fever does make you sick, but it is transmitted by blood, shit, feathers, dust or whatever else comes off of parrots. There is not a vax for this, even if there is one for this fake bird bug being ramped up.
Parrot Fever is treated by good olde cheap tetracycline.

Person to person transmission is almost unknown, because most people do not have feathers or are involved in sex deviant things that expose them to blood and feces of other perverts.
