The Lame Cherry quantifies that not everyone in England is a Palmerston asshole, as America had allies in England in the American Civil War. The problem is the people of England are held hostage to Norman invaders who have been busy exterminating peoples of centuries.
In the quote below, you will read from Peter Hitchins in how the nuclear war will be fought in Europe. Take notice that he is not including the United States, and why would America be part of this as Russia and America are working partners. There will be enough prosperity around in selling things to the surviving cannibals of Europe to gnaw on the Stamer sect for food.
Hitchins is spot on accurate. Russia will hit Europe with EMP's high in the sky. It will fry everything, save the bunkerstaters. Now let me explain something about this.
Europe for the most part is comprised of Saxons and Slavs, a most hearty people whose genetics survived the Black Death. The bunkerstate is a pansy state. It will depend on psychopaths with guns following orders to try and control the populations, which will not be controlled as this will all break down over food and water issues. The bunkerstate comprises about .2% of the population. The expendable military state might be 1%.
That leaves 99% of the population.
Even in worst case scenario, 90% of the population might die. I doubt that, but it will be trimmed to 50% in geezers, sickly and people drinking shit water and getting sick. So 9% of the population survives. They will be a human race in the old days, being able to survive without heat, clothes, shoes, food in short supply and protecting themselves. A master race will DNA appear out of these Saxons and Slavs again. They will in time eat the bunkerstate as 9% still outnumbers 1% even with high tech.
The Russians even if attacked, still like a number of nations, rural and urban rat population which have the DNA to survive a world without climate control. Even if nuked, Russia could neutralize all the French and English nuclear missiles. If there is an EMP, Russia as you will read below has kept up it's non computer equipment in the coal steam power, in trains to power plants.
So Russia having an old industrial base still operating, will be able to rebuild it's economy and save more of it's population as Russia as nuclear bunkers for most of it's population.
Hitchins is correct in the Russian strategy should be EMP and an EMP response might appear, but Russia will not be harmed by this attack, and in the meantime, Europe west is without electric.
Hutchins is correct in his conclusion.

I see nothing but positives in this, in a pure race in Europe again, a race which is Christian, meaning Right. Europe will not be a problem for a century, if left to hoe it's own land as America and Russia travel to the galaxy and perhaps implant a portion of these survivors onto colonies.
