Apparently the United States military is in need in this Obama age of some solutions in the protection of their forces and the effective neutralization of enemy forces. So I volunteer to assist the American and allied peoples to advance them to the necessary protocols with the tools they already have in their possession.

What I deem to construct is an 'electric skin". I realize I have written before on the matter of deflector shields or force fields, but in this with photograph illustration, will lay out the rudimentary scientific and architectural blueprints to build this nervous system as one will note interestingly that the natural flow of electric current in arcing is the exact pattern in the human body of how the nervous system is laid out in living tissue which provides the lines in electro chemical reactions to make a body function smoothly.

I will for once not digress into stories nor lengthy analogies, but simply tell the United States military how to build this electric skin.
Just like all houses have a foundation, the foundation of this system would be 8 surface ships as generators as I like octagons and employing worthless swabbies to scrub officer latrines.

Each ship would have a positive and a ground alternating on the bow and stern. Each ship would also have a midship ground which would be aimed at by a blimp flying over the battle group. This blimp would be a current generator and arc onto each ship.

This now is your electronic framework exactly like a home.

As one can see by the illustration and how the human body is laid out in current feed, electricity has an affection for linking and arcing to other main currents. We assist the main bolt centers in this by providing them with a metallic dust which just so happens to be "exploded" over the convoy and as it settles the electricity naturally arcs to these special metallic conductors and holds them in place.

This now is the foundation for the skin in these semi super conductors of specific design which turns the massive conduit into a miniature conduit replicating down to the smallest possible electrical arc.

The end result is a solid, part metal, part electronic dome which no solid object would be capable of passing through.
While the bleed would be greater and the natural ocean metal elements would be necessary to construct this, the same system with a submarine would be possible for a complete dome.

If one wanted holes for planes to fly through, one could just hang a porthole in the sky by a hoop of light material during formation.
While it would require numbers of replicating nanobots, the entire system could be regulated much easier in the bots opening and closing windows at appropriate times which would confuse enemy attack systems.

This type of system with the correct reflective screen metals could also cloak an entire convoy.

As the Russians and Chinese have been busy disregarding being neutral in finding new little demon missiles which move faster and erratic in flight, America should then respond with a system which as Reagan stated, neutralize the effects of their weapon systems.

Some will state, this will not work due to the power levels involved. I give the word on this, that the entire power generating system for this is already available, is mass produced and simply needs to be ship sized or city sized and voila one has instant Captain Kirk shields.
No they are not like Star Trek, but I already explained how to construct those in part elsewhere. This is the cheap an easy version.

Of course the really cheap version is mail, a flexable electronic floating blimp armor surrounding each ship. Let the Chinese and Russian whiz bangs eat on that.
