Jim Zorn

This blog really does not matter in this post, except that it matters the world to one person and their family. In that I have always believed the right of one person being inflicted upon outweighs the needs of the mob.

The person in this is Jim Zorn who was recently fired as the head coach of the Washington Redskins.
I like Jim Zorn as he has always been a professional from his time at Quarterback to his two years at coaching the Redskins.

What I detest is the Obama liberal press, who went after Rush Limbaugh, has now smeared Jim Zorn as he "was not a leader" and the reason he was fired from the Redskins.
This from the press who thinks teleprompter reader Obama is a leader.

The facts in this are the owner of the Redskins in billionaire Dan Snyder has been an absolute disaster in screwing up a once glorious franchise.
In 10 years he has had something like 7 head coaches, which included legend Joe Gibbs, who could not turn things around.

I remember Synder first coming into DC and spending a fortune in buying up all the big older names in football, which got him absolutely nothing but losses as football is indeed a team sport and not a sport of old superstars not playing as a team.

Into this I recall Norv Turner who is now finally successfully coaching out at the San Diego Chargers (another team who fired Marty Schottenheimer, sent their Quarterback Drew Brees to the New Orleans Saints and made mess of things that has taken 3 years to work out so the teams started being successful) was part of the revolving door of Dan Snyder's coy love song of demanding instant wins and perpetual wins, and then like Obama abandoning the troops he sent in.

So this is the catastrophe which Jim Zorn signed into and has now been smeared in being fired over. It was not Jim Zorn's lack of leadership but the meddling of Dan Snyder and the fact the Redskins do not have a Quarterback.
What the Redskins have is a Barack Obama named Jason Campbell, who has a great deal of talent, but nothing going on in the belfry.

It requires a great deal of mental ability, study and more study to be a quarterback in the NFL. Peyton Manning just does not happen every Sunday, but Peyton Manning studies all week and then he studies more game film while the game is going on to win the games he is in to see what the defense is being thrown at him.

I will use the example of the Minnesota Vikings who were for years allowed to win by the NFL when a black coach Dennis Greene was there. He created a black affirmative action program which was quite racist in he fired his entire white coaching staff one season to hire the entire black coaching staff of the Green Bay Packers was fired, when another black affirmative disaster in Ray Rhodes was fired.
Ray Rhodes is a good coach as well as Dennis Greene, the problem is there is a difference between being a good coach and a great coach.

The Vikings now have a good coach in Brad Childress whose policy is to hire adults who will show up for work. This of course worked alright, except he drafted a Tavaris Jackson who is dumb as a post like Jason Campbell.
The Vikings did nothing with him when he was surrounded by superstar players. The Vikings then went out and acquired Brett Farve who Green Bay really smeared and tried to ruin, but Brett Farve like Peyton Manning studies all week game film, he texts his players and tells them to watch other players in their moves and Brett Farve studies and adjusts at game time.

The net result is Minnesota is sitting in the number 2 spot in the NFC championship playoffs and Brad Childress got his job saved by Brett Farve.

What I am speaking here of is not about racial intelligence, but about affirmative action stupidity.

For example, Emmet Smith, the great back from the Dallas Cowboys made the offensive line of the Cowboys all pro bowl players and he helped Troy Aikman become a superstar too, because Emmet Smith was that great at understanding the game in running the football.
Great players who know the game make other good players into great players. That is what Brett Farve has done in Minnesota with Sidney Rice and Percy Harkins.
Under Tavaris Jackson, the entire group just was mediocre and always will be that sputtering start and stop, like Donovan McNabb who Rush Limbaugh pegged as an affirmative action choice of the NFL and was correct.
Mr. McNabb can play wonderfully, and then as Terrell Owen stated, "Need to take a nap", and the entire team flounders.

This is what Jim Zorn faced. He had one season in with Jason Campbell, who I have stated has some talent, but he is not an all start quarterback like Doug Williams. Into this Dan Snyder at the beginning of the season rocked the boat in trying to get a traded quarterback from Chicago named Jay Cutler who was cut from Denver as the new coach there had the intelligence of Dan Synder in rocking the boat.
So Campbell was pissed off, a meeting had to be held, and Zorn inherited the turmoil........and Zorn is being blamed for no leadership?

What was Zorn supposed to do? Walk into Snyders off with a bat and hit him over the head, stuff an apple in his mouth to shut him up, tie him up, and start signing the checks as team owner?

Jim Zorn has been unfairly treated in this in being blamed by the Obama press for billionaire Dan Synders disasters. The Redskins were screwed up the moment Snyder took them and they have been his screwed up abyss ever since.
Jim Zorn deserves a hell of a lot better than what he got as he was a capable leader who would have shown in Pittsburgh under the Rooney clique or in Minnesota with the Wilf's with a real Quarterback like Brett Farve to provide the stability and on field action that a coach coaches.

Currently Dan Snyder has affronted the Rooney Rule like all teams now do in this Obama age in not hiring black coaches or even making a show of interviewing them or Hispanics in he just went out and hired former fired Denver coach Mike Shannahan.
Snyder also came up with the son of former Redskins coach George Allen to be General Manager.

These two gentlemen though while having the ability, unless the key in this is locking Dan Snyder in his office and telling him he will beat to a pulp if he interferes will only yield the same disaster Jim Zorn had.
The Redskins need a Joe Thiesman, Doug Williams or a Billy Kilmer at quarterback, and until they get one, they are going to be the same winless team looking worse as Dan Snyder's new big, great idea turns into a pile of losses again.

None of this is that tough as legend Bill Parcells noted in winning. Just make your blocks, don't make mistakes and pretty soon you start winning.
Dan Snyder and Jason Campbell are mistakes, as you can not flush an owner, one has to set Campbell on the bench and either try and find some college kid to get beat up as he learns like Ben Rothlesberger or maybe go out and trade for a Carolina Panthers starter or back up.

Jim Zorn though deserves an apology, as much as he deserved a Quarterback like Brett Farve, as that is the difference between Brad Childress getting a 5 year contract and Mr. Zorn fired.
One has a quarterback and an owner who was not meddling and the other had a Daunte Culpepper and meddlesome Dan Snyder worried about Obamaction in the NFL.

When people kick you and you are down, that is when this blog will step in and champion those, because that is when everyone is walking out, and this blog will hold the Alamo.

Either you build a team to win games or you create a toy to play with in liberalism.

Why that matters is Obama is creating a US military as a toy for liberalism and it is going to not get US Soldiers fired, but dead. It is all the same. You either win wars or you Dan Snyder dither.
