This blog personally wills to thank George W. Bush for setting the standard in who a former President of these United States should be.I personally have had it with money grubbing whores, prostitutes sticking their noses into endless doo gooder deeds, maneuverings to be President for the wife or frankly an old guy jumping out of planes.
Frankly, a former President should be that, a former President, a statesman of statesmen, a precious virtue, based in the epitome of George Washington and most recently highlighted by Dwight Eisenhower and Ronald Reagan.
Men who served America all their lives and then just went off into the agrarian life as Washington did while meeting with world leaders to calmly and quietly rock the cradle of the world.
I appreciate the great work which Richard Nixon accomplished, all behind the cameras in being the confidant of Presidents, from Ronald Reagan to Bill Clinton.
This is who a former President should be, and not one that one just cringes and uses the term EX president and one just wants them to go away like a sour stomach.
In that, here am I most pleased that Texas has George W. Bush in being young, as they can enjoy the Bush family in a way which they were robbed of Lyndon Johnson.
Lyndon Johnson literally died of a broken heart from that cursed hippy, hate America movement, and they got him embroiled out of office in being political. It killed President Johnson and it is a shame, as Texas deserved better in having his insight as did the world, because Lady Byrd and Linda, both have proven what class acts they are in being American statespeople in defining Citizenry after leaving Washington.
That is why I'm thankful for George and Laura Bush. I hope that we have no more catharsis books from Mrs. Bush, and they just enjoy life in Texas, attending Rangers games to comforting Soldiers at Fort Hood to welcoming them home from deployment.
George and Laura have set a standard which was lost in American politics, as they define who former first families should be and behave as.
Granted their gorgeous daughter opened her mouth proving to be an idiot, but she apparently has learned and has kept her mouth shut. Good for her as America does not need any more talking vulvas like Megs McCain.
One must accomplish something or be Inspired by God before you have earned a right at the keyboard to speak to issues with Wisdom.
So this blog praises George and Laura Bush, who are comfortable in their own skin, and is so pleased for Texas to have this first couple gracing their social scene. It is good for a state and community to have former first family among them, and genuinely enjoying the nativity with no agenda.
They are a unique couple in not having to prove anything and comprehending that the American Republic has enough fingers in the pie and enough people grabbing for the reins, that just being an American Citizen is lofty enough for the Bush family in their current service.
They are quite refreshing and it is past time their virtues have not been noted, so perhaps these other droll folks might take the hint and just go away, as the reality of their attention whore status is distasteful.
Lady Byrd Johnson, Barbara Bush, George and Laura Bush, wonderful Texas company to keep as an example to all.
