This blog heartily endorses Alec Baldwin to run for Mayor of New York City. That might sound odd coming from a Conservative, but it would provide Mr. Baldwin in an executive position the growth as a human to learn the difference between liberal fantasy wishes and Conservative reality.
If one notices, Al Franken, that blow hard bully, has had bit put into his mouth, a saddle put on him, and he is like Daisy the old plough horse, once he got into the United States Senate, as he screwed Republicans over and his mouth antagonized liberal Democrats, so Al found out even he could not hide in a group of 100 and take credit for things, but the other 99 were busy doing a job they had not time for theatrics Hollywood style.
So I would appreciate Alec Baldwin being elected Mayor as it would teach him things his brother Stephen has already come to an understanding of, in being liberal is something some unfortunates do as children, but when you reach adulthood, you have to come to a Conservative understanding in order to make government work.
Clint Eastwood and Sonny Bono for example, two Conservatives did a fine job as Mayors of their cities. It teaches on the basics of dealing with the local population who know all of your dirt, and when one chooses to move to a larger role, as Sonny Bono did, it prepares you for Congress as only an executive job can.
Mr. Baldwin will find out what Sarah Palin dealt with in being a Mayor and how it assisted her in becoming Governor, an advanced executive position as there is a vast field of difference between leading Democrats, Republicans and Independents, than in being a community organizer of a black clique, being awarded an in state Congressional job for being black, and once again getting a Senate seat by hook and crook for being black on a cartel greater agenda of controlling the black vote.
Mr. Baldwin will have none of that Obama cloak to hide under. He will not have black, Jewish or any other voting block to watch his back. He will instead like Sarah Palin have to deal with police and fire unions, do the unglamorous job of keeping the streets cleaned of snow and potholes filled..........and when Mr. Baldwin gets an ear full from some 80 year old Deli owner, because one of his staff shuts the street down to hang up Obama signs for a week and it makes the front page for a week in the press..........one finds out an appreciation that this is not screaming at your kid when your ex sets you up or dealing with Hannity and Levin........this is you as a leader, and you get blamed more than appreciated, and there are always those nasty talk show guests taking things out of context like, "I can see Russians from my ivory tower" and "Do you read newspapers Mr. Baldwin?", and then saying how ridiculously stupid Alec Baldwin is and how he should have aborted his daughter..........and David Letterman will be doing jokes about rape impregnation of his little girl by the New York Yankees........and how that liberal audience will laugh and laugh...........and your little girl will call up asking, "Dad, why did you have to run for office?"
I do not agree on the liberal things of Alec Baldwin and never will, but I see in his running for office and his election a valuable growth experience, as he will never be a Richard Daley, but he might be a centrist like Rudy Giuliani..........after all look at Rahm Emanuel the thug is now turning the police loose to hunt down Chicago gang thugs to make his city safe.
Hmmmm does anyone get the point in all of these nationwide "wilding" by colored youth, that this might be the same as Obama turning Muslim kids loose in the Mideast? A sort of Barack Obama 2012 election strategy in intimidating the voters?
Never mind about that, as this is about Alec Baldwin and in liberal New York, it would be a great experience for his growth as a human and as Obama has made New York a beacon nuclear target now for terrorists...........well who better to deal with that Obama event, than one of his voters who will be the one taking the 3 AM call.
