If it walksa like a duck it might not be the right duck

Awhile back in doing an article on survival foods, I stated the muscovy duck would be something for small lot owners to contemplate in being quiet and they breed like rabbits.

In that blog I mentioned a hatchery called Country Hatchery in Oklahoma with some owner Dennis being a respected source.
I have since come across this evidence of ducks sold by this hatchery which needs to be exposed as while I have never found any bad feedback concerning them, I wonder now if the people ordering ducks from this outfit are all morons in believing whatever they are told.

I ask you to look at the above photo, and tell me if that is the same duck or duck breed?

It should be a simple answer of yes or no. The duck on the right is a Muscovy Pied duck, meaning black and white. The duck on the left is a duck actually sold by Country Hatchery as a pied muscovy when it is obvious it is nothing of the sort.
I do not know every domesticated duck breed, but I do know that pied ducks are black and white and do not have anacona type feathering like a mallard hen.
You can see in a real Muscovy that the feet are yellow and this Country Hathery duck is not.

This hatchery should be investigated by the BBB and Oklahoma Attorney General's Office as people have the right to order anything and receive what they order.

There were more of these mystery ducks in I tried to figure out from the photos what they were and the closest was a variety called Blue Swedish, but even at that these mystery ducks do not match.
They seem to be some odd cross of a Rouen which is a fat domesticated mallard, a Blue Swedish and something that has an Anacona chicken type barring.
In studying these pictures I saw evidence of odd European type ducks to the American Widgeon and Gadwall, but nothing about them is Muscovy.

They do not even have the ability to flair their head feathers which is a common trait of these ducks.
It is the old maxim of I do not know what these ducks are, but they are not a South American black and white duck called a Muscovy in any form. The eye color in these mystery ducks is even wrong in a Muscovy in the photo has a yellow eyes and the mystery ducks have a brown eye.

Needless to say this blog offers a NO BUY from this mystery duck supplier.

It is reprehensible considering what is at stake, the price of feed, the price of poultry to have this going on. You be the judge and if you can tell me those are the same duck breeds, then you apparently are a relative of the mystery duck breeder.

Can't trust anyone any more in this Age of Obama.
