From the desk of the Tiger Lily.
This is for the Viking. In case you were wondering why he isn't the one, I was wondering the same. So I asked God about it last summer, because let's face it, that guy is a pansy and for years he hasn't been doing ANYTHING of note. I was Given this verse, multiple times:
"And they gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles." Acts 1:26
There had to be 12 Apostles. After Judas kicked off, there were only 11, and thus, God Filled the open position. It must be that people have fore-ordained roles to fulfill, and as they either refuse to rise to the occasion or are too incompetent to accomplish their purpose, as Mordecai said to Esther (Esther 4:14), another will rise to carry out God's Plan. And, just as he was displaced, if this other does not fulfill the role, yet another will rise.
I hope this very brief explanation answers any questions you might have been harboring. :) We miss you but know you are extremely busy. God Bless you for all your tender care of your Blessed Mama.
