In reading history as Spaniards actually wrote books from 1492 on, the
Indians have not exactly been victims but quite willing rapists,
torturers, thieves, enslavers and murderers. There is a reason they were
termed savages. They were savages.
One can read of gang rapes of white women by 30 warriors with squaws
standing over giving pointers. Their children's brains bashed in and
scalps drying by the fire as they lay their bound.
All to the lovely situation of arriving in camp and being raped by
everyone in camp before being passed around in gambling matches as they
were beat by squaws daily working them to exhaustion.
Of course if rescue came, an Indian would either bash her head in or
slit her throat so as not to identify the criminals.
Indians also enjoyed selling their daughters to the highest bidder who
was often enough a white "squaw man" criminal who bred them and left the
bastards for the tribes or government to feed.
If one examines Teddy Roosevelt's visit to Africa in the early 1900's,
he explained that blacks in America were wonderfully advanced in having
benefited from slavery as had the colonial peoples like the Ugandans
under British. These peoples were educated and still in need of a few
generations to join civilized nations, but compared to what Roosevelt
found in his porters who huddled under bushes freezing at night unless
being forced to build shelters, gather wood and create fires........the
American slave survived and prospered in captivity in the west while
African groups which were captured and sold by more advanced African
tribes simply waited around like a gazelle to either be turned into lion
or crocodile dung.
So while I understand it is modern European "feel your pain" and
apologize for everything in Pope Ben visiting America, I would like
Ben's counterparts in Indian shamans to apologize for all the Americans
they ate or made mothers eat as Francis Parkman recorded happening to
the numbers of Americans murdered and raped by Indians who never did
anything to an Indian but befriend them.
The Minnesota Massacre records numerous savage attacks by Indians who
were treated like family members. These Indians fastened young girls to
walls, raped them and murdered them.
I would like to hear Jesse Jackson, Mrs. Barack Obama and Rev. Wright
say, "Thank God my people were taken from Africa by other black tribes
and sold into slavery as they lived where they would have been eaten by
animals or killed in genocide and now here I sit with Oprah in America
as millionaires and not in Africa dying of aids like an ignorant".
So perhaps Pope Ben can hold off on feeling quite so sorry for certain
groups of people as sometimes what one sees is not exactly the entire
story..........and as Americans get blamed for everything, perhaps Pope
Ben can hold off on apologizing until shamans and prosperous blacks
start extending the hand of apologizing for their atrocities and
ingratitude.
Sort of like secularists in Keynes and Kinsey instituting pedophilia in
America corrupting the institution of Father Flannigan in the Catholic
religion where these predators congregated.
These perverts were created by homosexual secularists, so until the
liberals in America start apologizing to these molested children for
their past and current rape of them in Hillary Clinton's policy in
sexing up 5 year olds with warping them to homosexual
teaching.......none of this is going to end and Pope Ben must speak out
on this even more than dealing with the popular past sins so in vogue
with the liberal press now.
That would be a different kind of sorry, but it is one which Pope Ben
should have slapped liberal Americans upside the head as he lovingly
embraced all the people harmed across this sphere of the globe.
