For those who think this blog does not know what the hell it is talking about and the many scripts posted here about the greatest actor ever in Joaquin Phoenix to save many films and to resurrect the Batman Franchise which Ben Affleck destroyed, just look at the genius of Hollywood in casting Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker in a stand alone film, away from Batman and all that other nonsense.
Director Todd Phillips on Sunday shared the first look of star Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker in the stand-alone film about the iconic Batman supervillain.
The photo, shared by Phillips on Instagram, features Phoenix in a green jacket and shirt with a scruffy hairdo and the hint of a smirk on his face. Absent are the character's iconic clown makeup and green locks.
"Arthur," Phillips captioned the picture, seemingly confirming rumors that the character's real name will be Arthur Fleck.
The stand-alone film will follow the origin of Batman's most notorious foe as he transforms from a struggling stand-up comedian to a full-blown criminal force of nature.
All of us remember the disaster of that horrid Jim Carey ruining Caesar Romero's wonderful creation, and the various psychotic manifestations like Jack Nicholson in those dark Batman evil things. This though is a first look at the legend, Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker, bringing the evolution of this villain to life.

I could not be more pleased for comic book fans of the real genre, the Adam West genius of Batman, and for Mr. Phoenix as he will finally be afforded the opportunity to carry the entire Super Hero franchise and breathe it back to life. Not in Heath Ledger sinister allure of worshiping of evil, but in the true nature of what makes evil the most terrifying of events, in it is in all of us, and is a seed which is nurtured beneath the surface as it becomes this cancerous force of inhumanity in robbery, rape, violence and murder.
Nom de Deus, not since Sir Laurence Olivier has the world beheld such a master as Joaquin Phoenix. Can not each of you looking at the above photo, not see Richard III. There is simply not enough Joaquin Phoenix to go around, but this greatest actor ever, belongs in the most monumental of pictures to return the acting profession to it's heights.
This blog first published what was necessary to save Hollywood, and now Hollywood has answered that call in no one else could save this industry but Joaquin Phoenix in the greatest actor ever. If only Hollywood in this movie would cast Jan Michael Vincent, the greatest television actor ever, to a roll where he would enlarge his presence again now that John Wayne has passed on, what a visceral wonder this movie would be.
