When I began this, I had hoped for a more easy time of it, than trying to condense Martin Luther's Inspired masterpiece on the Masterpiece of God in the thousands of years of the Bible to teach Christians the Doctrines of the Lord Christ, but Martin Luther did not live in a computer age where he could with one word search entry find in Bible Plus all the verses on every subject.
It is in that, that Luther is very short in the Lord's Prayer, and in that I am much longer in the THY KINGDOM COME part of the petition, and in being more work, there is more beauty in those three words which I never comprehended nor any of you have ever understood, for while we know the Kingdom of God is not of this temporal earth, there are in the assembled verses the confirmation of the 10 Commandments in the entire foundation of all teachings and the reality that every person to become a Christian, must have the old Adam and Eve perish in their bodies, and begin growing by the Holy Ghost a Spiritual Light in them for this is the eternal Light of God.
Most people have no idea that there is not a Gospel of Jesus the Christ, and there is only a Gospel which Christ preached in the Gospel of the Kingdom of God.
This Gospel mandated that people upon hearing it, keep the 10 Commandments, and believe that Christ was bringing a Kingdom of God to them.
Mark 1:14 - 15
Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,
And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
Mark 4:11
And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:
The Kingdom of God is a Mystery, the Great Mystery, for it is the Promise of God, to transform the human soul into the eternal Spirit of God. This is the children of God, this is the offspring of God. This is what drives satan to fury in people will be given the Kingdom by Faith, which satan attempted to steal in demonic war.
The Kingdom of God is mathematical, in it is physics. The Father in addition to His Thought, Who is Christ, produces a Holy Ghost. Under this is the Word of God, or Christ Who being alive, sows a Spiritual Seed into the soul ground of people. Once there tended by the person in Faith, and nurtured by the Holy Ghost, it is multiplied in Light energy, to become an extension of the Father and Jesus.
Each Christian is a crop of Light. This is the Kingdom of God come to earth to wrest control of this universe from the anarchy of satan.
It is a reality that in seeking, or growing in the Light of God, makes a child of God, more readily mirroring the Father, so all the things of this world are properly then available or added to this new creation. That is the instruction and instead of things consumed in lust, there are now resources to be of benefit to the person and others in all selfishness is gone.
Mark 4:26
And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;
Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
This extends then into the additional mathematical reality. If you put dirt into a fire, you will get dirt. If you put water into a fire, you will produce steam. When rich people horde up vast amounts of wealth, they trust in money, and they value money and are validated by it. They divest themselves of the Spiritual growth necessary for the Kingdom of God, because the dirt of the body does not make it to Heaven, but is buried on earth. It is only the watered Spirit which arises to the Heavens to become one with God.
This is not to state that all rich people are going to hell. It is a reality that there are almost zero millionaires and billionaires who will sell all they have and give to the poor, because they trust in that money in who they are, instead of having Faith in God. They are cumbered by the wealth, which as soon as they die, is handed over to others who scatter it to indulge themselves.
Instead of investing it in the Kingdom or children of God, rich people horde it, creating a greater sin in the suffering they cause in not being the Good Samaritan, and they cast away the Gospel and the fulfillment of the Law in Loving God and Caring for His creation.
Matthew 19:24
And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
Mark 10:24
And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!
It is little comfort in this misery for the poor, but in this same mathematics, the poor not having gold as their god, are when in Faith justified by trusting in Christ as their treasure. They by keeping the Law and Caring for others, will inherit something greater than the universe for eternity in this Spiritual Kingdom, for the churches you see are not the Christian Spirit, but each person is the Church in Spirit, for such is the Kingdom of God.
Luke 6:20
And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.
The Kingdom of God is nothing of this earth. The Kingdom of God come is Spirit, and the product is Christ's Peace and Joy in the Holy Ghost. That is a Peace with nothing missing or broken, to produce a Joy in being validated in that Trust in the Lord.
Do not ever think because you are poor that you are less or that you have done something wrong. The fact is the poor in majority are living correctly as they were about the Father's rules, instead of seeking to swindle someone.
John 3:5
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Romans 14:17
For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
This is the reality. The body you inhabit can not inherit or enter the Kingdom of God, for it decomposes, just as everything in this dimension, including time will end. All that remains is Love, and as God is Love, that Light is all that continues on, and if you are not of that Light, you are darkness and can not continue on where only Light abides.
I Corinthians 15:50
Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
This is the Second Petition of the Lord Christ in the Lord's Prayer, and explained in short by the Martin Luther Inspired by the Holy Ghost.
The Second Petition
Thy kingdom come.
What does this mean? The kingdom of God certainly comes by itself without our prayer, but we pray in this petition that it may come to us also.
How does God’s kingdom come? God’s kingdom comes when our heavenly Father gives us His Holy Spirit, so that by His grace we believe His holy Word and lead godly lives here in time and there in eternity.
This Kingdom of Spirit, is also one which must be entered into as in the trusting Faith of a child. A child does not require hard evidence which God has hidden to be revealed to only the Inspired in studying nature. For the heavens declare the Glory of God and the firmament shows His handiwork.
That evidence is later and revealed, but it that childlike trust where the Gospel begins and the Kingdom of God grows in Spirit.
It is all about Trust, Faith and Belief. That is what God requires, a faith like your believing there is a next breath of air out there to fill your lungs. You can not see it, but you trust it is there. That is the Kingdom of God and why air is unseen, for it is God's nature calling out, this is an example of the Spirit in Life filling the human soul to Life.
Mark 10:14 - 15
But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.
Mark 1:15
And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
The Father gives this Kingdom. This Spirit can not be earned or purchased. It requires Faith, Trust, Obedience and Belief, all things of the Heart, for this is the Soul, and the Kingdom of God is sown there first.
Luke 12:32
Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
The warning in this, is that no one who is deliberately shattering the 10 Commandments, not trying to change to mould their God provided lives to stop being in rebellion against God, is ever going to inherit the Kingdom of God. The teaching is precise in if you are holding the things of this world as your most important asset, you have displaced God, and without God, you can not become Spiritual.
I Corinthian 6:9 - 10
Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
This is God's Kingdom of Spirit, and what is prayed in Thy Kingdom Come.
