What are the Benefits of Baptism - Part 2

As another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.

Matthew 28:19

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

The command of  Jesus Christ is certain in Baptism. There is no doubt that the Gospel of the Kingdom of God is to be shared with all, and to those who believe and receive Christ as their personal Savior, there is a point lost in this which Martin Luther does touch upon, and will be explained here fully, in you will notice that Christ commands to Baptize  in the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. The Triune, the Trinity, the Elohim in their entire person of the Father, the Word as Jesus and their Presence in the Holy Ghost is who all Christianity is Baptized into. Baptism is not the penalty payment as Christ's Blood is, but Baptism is the adoption into the Spiritual family of God.

"Dearest Jesus, We Are Here"
by Benjamin Schmolck, 1672-1737
Translated by Catherine Winkworth, 1829-1878

2. Yea, Thy word is clear and plain,
And we would obey it duly:
"He who is not born again,
Heart and life renewing truly,
Born of water and the Spirit,
Can My kingdom not inherit."

We must all be born of water and the Spirit, the Living Water, or we are not changed, and still the same flesh and blood, which ages and will rot in the ground. Baptism if the rebirth, the regeneration of that which was under the penalty of death, transformed into the Gift of Eternal Life.

John 3:5

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

It is a simple Law. All who believe on Christ as their Savior are saved. All who reject that Salvation are condemned by their own actions. One can not be eternally alive when they are mortally or eternally dead.

Second

What benefits does Baptism give?

It works forgiveness of sins, rescues from death and the devil, and gives eternal salvation to all who believe this, as the words and promises of God declare.

Which are these words and promises of God?

Christ our Lord says in the last chapter of Mark: “Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.” (Mark 16:16)

That is the reality of Baptism, we are washed, we are sanctified, we are justified, not just in the Blood of Christ through Faith, but the Faith of Baptism which is our Spiritual unbreakable Covenant to Life.

Mark 16:16

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Baptism is the Resurrection of Christ. It is Life. It washes away the filth of sin and in the new creation, of pure conscience, we are presented to the Father as His Spiritual offspring.

I Peter 3:21

The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

This is written in Scripture and shared from above. In the water and the Power of the Word, we are cleansed, we are set apart for God, and we have the right to be with God, for the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost has bestowed upon us that Right.

I Corinthians 6:11

And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

Baptism washes away the enmity with God. Baptism establishes in the Christian the Angelic quality, which frees us from the limits of this existence. St. Paul notes there is not Jew or Gentile, slave or free, or male or female as Christ teaches, and that MUST BE understood in the abomination which has defiled the Christian Church in these sexual deviants of homosexuals who define themselves in perversion. Baptism does away with all human hyphenated divisions. There is not such a thing as a homosexual Christian no more than there is a female Christian, because sex definitions and all defining castes of this world are obliterated. There is only the repentant child of God. If there is anything more it is sin and rebellion against God and that individual is not of the Body of Christ but an anathema who is not Christian at all, for they have bastardized the Gospel and blasphemed against the Holy Ghost.

The Holy Ghost is pure. God's Presence is not corrupt in the lusts of the flesh or the filthy lucre of riches in this world. There is one Christian by Baptism, through Faith and disciplined daily by obeying the Law of God.
Anything else is the work of satan and the spawn of that creatures lies.

Galatians 3

26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

The benefits of Baptism are unity and peace, not sinful derision and division.
