This is your million dollar Bible lesson today in prayer power.
The human is an electrical creature which makes a spark. The God of Heaven is a Being which strikes like lightning.
Your spark is amplified by God.
All you can do or engage in, to assist in the conversion of your spark to God's Lightning is exactly what the Bible teaches.
The command:
Pray Praise and Give Thanks
Prayer puts your will into the Will of God. Praising God amplifies that placement. Giving thanks amplifies that action in Faith it is a concluded action.
A blessing is not just a gift. The gift is the result of the blessing. Blessing means to empower, so when you are praying to God in praising Him, you are blessing Him or building a charge before the lightning strikes and sets the God light in every atom into motion for you.
Blessed be the Lord my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:Psalm 145:10 (Read all of Psalm 145)
This is a modern translation of the Bible. It loses all poetry of the King James, but also loses a great deal of meaning. The focus of this is THE LORD IS GREAT.

The Lord is Great is a statement of character. It is completely different from a command in the King James of LET GOD BE MAGNIFIED.
The King James is correct in LET GOD BE MAGNIFIED in the meaning. Magnified brings with it the action of increasing, empowering, enhancing. What David is stating by the Holy Ghost is, when you are in need, you take actions as in praying, praising and giving thanks, willing God to act in the life He gave you, and willing God to be the overpowering force to solve every need.
God is already that Force. God though is restrained when people do not want His solutions.
"I want a new car". Yes, but you don't have the money to pay for the expense, you drive like an idiot to get yourself killed, or the people you hang around with will carjack you and brain you.
Your prayer is not thought through and worse yet, where was any of the prayerfully praising and giving thanks to invoke God to action?
Solomon in the dedication of the Temple slaughtered thousands of animals and had choirs singing. You show up to God expecting that you are the entire show and God is as impressed as you finding pizza in the garbage with rat turds on it for lunch.
God does not expect the slaughter of animals or huge donations, but He does demand for you to HEARKEN AND OBEY HIM. That means every day you are showing God that you are trying to improve in keeping the 10 Commandments and are caring about others. That is the Proverbs, just as the beginning of Wisdom is to HATE EVIL, meaning you stop being a sinner indulging the things you lust for.
A Prayer for Deliverance
70 1 Make haste, O God, to deliver me; make haste to help [1] me, O Lord. 2 Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt. 3 Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha. 4 Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified. 5 But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O Lord, make no tarrying.
All of you are at least familiar with a car engine. You know the battery is there and there are spark plugs. Something happens though to make your car go, and that is the 12 vote battery of you, which sends out a prayer in turning on the key. Once that connection to God is made, His coil builds a charge of your 12 volts to his 60,000 volts, when the points open and the prayer charge goes through the lines to the spark plugs, which causes a massive spark, which ignites the fuel of your prayer to drive your car.
You just can not get into a car and throw the keys at the ignition and say start as nothing will happen. You have to do things in actions like inserting the prayer and making sure there is praise fuel in the tank for the actions of God to ignite. God will always do His part, but you have a responsibility too in the actions on earth for His actions from Heaven.
Magnify God every opportunity you have constantly, by being good, obeying Him, always being in connection with Him, and not deliberately sinning or hurting others. You do that and you already have a charge built up, and when a prayer comes from you, God actively completes the prayer out of Love as you did nothing to earn that action, but you have the responsibility to complete what God mandates from you.
God put the breath of life in you. You breathe it back in prayer and He makes it into a hurricane of power unleashed for good, for His Glory.
I sincerely hope this education in prayer assists you to more complete arcing of your spark to becoming God's Lightning for prayer completion.
